Electronic Security Systems Manager

The North America and Europe Electronic Security System Manager reports to the Sr. Manager of Security. S/he is responsible for managing the conceptualization, design, analysis, development, documentation, implementation, installation, and test/validation of hardware associated with electronic security systems (ESS) contributing to the overall physical security operations primarily at Lam sites in North America and Europe. Responsible for implementing Lam ESS policies and procedures on site, accountable for Key Performance Indicators, proactively partnering with site leadership as well as outsourced ESS equipment and services providers. Possesses the technical knowledge for ESS design, installation, maintenance, and auditing Technicians servicing the Intruder Alarms Systems, Access Control Systems, Integrated Electronic Security Systems - Personnel Alarm Systems, and Closed-Circuit Television Systems (CCTV) areas of the electronic security and emergency systems industry. Incumbent will also be a collaborator with the ability to develop trusted relationships with many levels of colleagues both in the US and internationally.  

• Design and manage installations at new Lam sites or remodel/ expansion of existing buildings, including vendor and equipment selection
• Program and maintain the access control servers, NVR, and security domain controllers
• Program and maintain additional systems tied to the ESS including thermal cameras, access turnstiles, and visitor management systems
• Troubleshoot network issues affecting ESS operability and reconcile issues in coordination with IT/Cybersecurity departments
• Vet new technologies and upgrades to our global security system
• Willingness to provide on-call management support, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Demonstrated ability to implement consistency in policies and procedures across a site
• Able to climb stairs, walk distances, and at times may be asked to stand for long periods
• Able to work in a fast-paced global environment with flexible work hours
• Must be able to travel ~25% of the time domestically and internationally

• >6 years security/IT experience
• >6 years Honeywell ProWatch ESS or equivalent system programming and administration experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with focus on Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, IT, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated experience working with electronic security systems
• Good written and verbal skills
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
• Solid Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

• Electronic Security Specialist Certification (Security System Integrator)
• Has position applicable certifications
• Network Administrator
• Experience in Server Administration
• Experience in Data Base maintenance
• SQL
• MS Windows
