OPPORTUNITY SNAPSHOT

Far Bank Enterprises opened our search for an IT Help Desk Technician. We are seeking an outgoing individual looking to develop their IT skills. This position reports directly to the Director of IT and will be working closely with Senior IT staff for issue escalation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Telephone, Remote, and On-Site troubleshooting and technical support for PC hardware, Printers, Applications, and general networking issues.
  • Installation, configuration, and support of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10 and 11).
  • Installation, configuration, and support of Microsoft Desktop Applications (Office 365).
  • Assist with general maintenance of Microsoft Server Operating Systems as directed by Senior IT Staff.
  • Installation and support of other In-House and 3rdparty applications as required.
  • Troubleshooting of general networking and connectivity issues, to include remote user VPN connectivity.
  • Installation, configuration and support of printers, scanners and other PC and network attached hardware.
  • Maintenance of Active Directory User Account, Computer Accounts, etc.
  • Assist the Senior IT Staff in tasks and projects as required.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining documentation of processes and procedures.

Candidate Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience working in an IT Helpdesk /Support Role.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with Windows Active Directory User accounts (Account creation, removals, and group assignments).
  • 1-2 years PC / Laptop setup and troubleshooting experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience supporting Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
  • Basic IP networking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Appropriate certification is acceptable in lieu of experience.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office Suite products.
