Volt is immediately hiring for IT Support Specialist, Tier 1 in EVERETT, Washington.
As an IT Support Specialist, Tier 1 you will:
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical end-user support in-person or remote.
• Prepare hardware (laptops/desktops) for distribution to end users.
• Support other networked devices such as printers, access points, and switches.
• Install or upgrade end user software as needed.
• Provide new employee IT orientation.
• Create and help keep documentation up to date.
• Ensuring availability of audio and visual resources
Required Experience:
• Experience using and troubleshooting the following:
• Windows 10, MacOS, Android & iOS operating systems
• Office 365
• Laptop/Desktop Hardware
• Common Peripherals (Mice, Keyboards, Webcams, etc.)
• Printers
• Previous help desk experience desired
Job Requirement:
• occasionally work outside of normal business hours
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs without assistance.
• Washington State driver’s license
• Ability to travel up to 35 miles to satellite office in Redmond.
• Technical certifications such as CompTIA’s A+ desired
Preferred Qualification:
• Technical certifications such as CompTIA’s A+ desired
This is a Full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Windows 10, MacOS, Android & iOS operating systems.
•Laptop/Desktop Hardware, Office 365
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
