Job Description

Prime-net is a full-service, turn-key technology integrator, located in Flowery Branch, GA. We have been providing nationwide technology deployment and installation solutions since 2005, working with clients of any scale on their low voltage integration and networking projects. We specialize in network design and installation, low voltage cabling, point-of-sale systems, and whatever else your company may need from a technology standpoint.

Prime-Net specializes in project management, technology surveys, structured cabling services including coax and fiber, point of sale system integration, Wi-fi configuration, CCTV, WAN deployment, and other digital media.

Summary:

We are a fast-growing service integrator with global customers and projects, and we are looking to hire IT Field Technicians to install commercial retail and restaurant point of sale (POS) systems, structured cabling, network devices, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), etc.

Essential Functions:

Low Voltage Experience
Running/Terminating Cat 5/6
Basic knowledge of computer hardware A+ preferred but not required
Basic network experience
A structured cabling experience is a plus
POS installation and troubleshooting experience
Manage multiple tasks and work in a team environment
Work unsupervised
Strong communication with management including written updates on the progress

Must have a demonstrated ability to interact with clients and team members in an efficient, professional manner
Must have strong self-management skills
Must demonstrate good judgment and show respect for others

Qualifications:

Low Voltage Experience
Running/Terminating Cat 5/6
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, their own reliable transportation, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must own, have the knowledge of, and the ability to use hand tools including power tools
Must be able to travel to any US work location
Must be able to work evenings and weekends and be out of town for extended periods of time if the work requires

Preferred Experience:

Working experience on a Scissor and Boom Lift.
Experience working in a quick-service environment.
Computer assembly/disassembly.
Comfortable using construction tools such as Drills, hand saw, cable crimping tools, etc.
Help Desk Support.
