Independent Chef

We are looking for UTAH Chefs who want to be their own BOSS. (We will be moving Nationwide by the end of 2024.)

The Ghost Kitchens app is a groundbreaking and innovative platform connecting talented local chefs with hungry local customers.

We are seeking skilled and creative chefs with culinary degrees or verifiable professional experience as head chefs. The ideal candidates will have a passion for culinary arts and are looking to start a micro-restaurant at home, or in a cloud, or ghost kitchen offering pickup or delivery without the burden of taking on massive loans for a traditional brick-and-mortar establishment.

Ghost Kitchens takes care of all marketing, advertising, website, and app hosting, guest checkout, and other business-related costs. We simply serve as a bridge that connects you to customers. Our app is designed to be user-friendly and straightforward, providing each chef with a page featuring a bio, a personal photo, and their menu.

Our mission at Ghost Kitchens is to enable you to focus on your passion and what you do best: creating incredible food. You have the freedom to choose how many days a week you want to cook, how many hours each day, when those hours occur, and what dishes you want to prepare. Think of it as your restaurant but from the comfort of your home. We are calling it a “micro-restaurant”. Whether you want to specialize in cooking Indian cuisine full-time from Monday to Friday or prefer to bake desserts only on weekend evenings, the choice is yours.

Qualifications

A detailed checklist outlining the requirements to become one of our chefs can be found on our website, the main three are as follows:

• Graduation from a culinary institution with at least an Associates Degree
• If no degree, verifiable experience as a head chef for a fine dining establishment
• Be able to create unique menus that stand above Big Chain restaurants
• Time management skills
• Ability to offer pickup or delivery from your place of business (home or ghost kitchen
