As part of the Information Security Department at Rover.com, this individual will oversee projects centered on the architectural improvements, implementing best practices and detection, response, and mitigation of security incidents occurring in the corporate network, Rover.com application, and AWS infrastructure.The ideal candidate will be able to take on projects with broad scope and complex requirements to plan, implement, and deliver a greater framework of infrastructure security and threat detection and response across the organization. This position will require knowledge of security controls and detection techniques employed in corporate networks, AWS infrastructure, and Python applications.

We do not operate a "traditional" corporate environment and have no on-premises servers - we are entirely cloud based and building towards a BeyondCorp model. This role will also help to solve the security challenges of a custom made service marketplace operating in 10+ countries.This is a growing function working in a new space so the ideal candidate will be comfortable with complex work, ambiguity, switching between the big picture and detailed tasks, is willing to adapt to a changing landscape, and most of all is someone who enjoys a challenge!Rover is an equal opportunity employer committed to promoting a diverse, inclusive and inventive environment with the best employees.
