Airfreight Express Corp. (AFE) is an established trucking company based out of Wilmington, MA seeking an experienced and reliable Class A CDL Truck Driver to join its workforce. AFE operates within New England, New York (5 Boroughs), and New Jersey. The candidate most qualified for this position will be primarily operating within New York/New Jersey and is required to have experience driving in and around the Brooklyn/Bronx area.

Candidates will drive their own truck (13-speed Freightliner sleeper) each day and are expected to conduct daily pre/post-trips and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle. Take pride in a clean truck as it is your office!

Class A CDL Driver Job Responsibilities:

Dependable – Time is money in the trucking industry and customers expect shipments at specific times and will not accept late pickups/deliveries
No Passengers – Candidates will be driving the truck solo, no team driving or passengers allowed
No-Touch Freight – Drivers are only required to pick-up and deliver the freight, absolutely no unloading done by the driver
Hours of Service – Drivers are required to follow all DOT-FMCSA HoS rules and regulations and keep track of their daily logs through the use of our Electronic Logging Device (ELD)

Class A CDL Driver Requirements:

Must have clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT Pre-Employment Drug Test
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum of 3 years’ experience
Experience driving in and around New Jersey and New York (Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, Queens) is a MUST
Driver GPS
Smartphone for the use of our ELD
