About the Position - Marketing Manager for Vacation Rental Web Design Studio

Floorspace is a web design studio for vacation rentals. We're looking for someone to manage and grow our blog and other marketing channels. We're a very small team, and you would be a big part of it.

You'd be in charge of:

• Blog / SEO: Write, edit, and plan content. Prepare outlines and edit posts written by VAs. Write/research some more in-depth posts yourself. Assist in SEO keyword research. Manage our existing posts and resources to keep them updated.
• Email Inbox: Manage emails about affiliate partnerships, backlink opportunities, guest posting, etc.
• Social Media: Grow our Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube. Manage a VA doing the day-to-day posting and moderation.
• Email Marketing: Curate and write content for our email sequences and newsletters.
• Manage VAs: Create / update instructions for VAs to follow, and review their work
• Other Admin: We're looking for someone who can be flexible and wear multiple hats on different projects.

Availability

• Hours: 20 - 30 hrs/week
• Time Zone: MT or close. This is a remote position, but ideally you'd be available during afternoon hours (2 - 6PM MT), for Slack messaging and occasional video calls.

Qualifications

• Organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Tech savvy — you're comfortable using (or learning to use) tools like WordPress, Canva, Zapier, Mailchimp, Flodesk, Tailwind, Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
• Motivated / self-starter — you take ownership of projects, and can take ideas from a brainstorming session, create a plan, and execute to get results
• Experience with vacation rentals is a huge plus, but not required. We're looking for someone interested in becoming a subject matter expert, to create content that's accurate and insightful.

Compensation

• $25 – $30/hr — Depending on experience, and open to negotiation.
