Warehouse Associate

We prefer someone with solid warehouse and forklift experience, but we’ll also consider and train less experienced employees that maybe a good fit.

• Location: North Hollywood, CA
• Position: Full Time (Monday-Friday, 8 am -4 pm)
• Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per HR (skill and experience based)
• Job Opening: Immediate
• On- site Training: Provided

Job Summary: Perform general warehouse duties; in-coming and outgoing shipments/orders; Stocking, organizing, cleaning (dusting and sweeping) of the warehouse and stock areas; Inventory control and taking; Maintain and assure warehouse safety, work tools, and equipment; Work with and assist the Purchasing Manager and other departments as needed to ensure efficiency of stock and operations; Maintain a well-stocked, neat, and organized warehouse and workspace.

Physical Demands: The employee must frequently lift, carry and/or move up to 50 lbs., or less.  Employee is frequently required to stand and walk, climb, reach, bend/twist, kneel/squat. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly conducts repetitive motion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The actual duties required of this position may vary. The core list below is not exhaustive of all duties that the employee may be required to perform.

• Picking (orders), Packing, Palletizing
• Stocking, Sorting, Organizing
• Unloading incoming orders
• Loading and securing outgoing orders
• On-going (targeted) stock checks and counts
• Planning for incoming and outgoing stock/orders
• Following all warehouse, loading, and receiving procedures
• Maintain and insure a safe work environment
• Operate a forklift well and responsibly
• Inventory taking and maintenance
• Help ensure accuracy of inventory system vs. physical
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the WH & all stock areas
• Perform other store responsibilities as required

Requirements / A Must:

• Minimum one-year forklift operation experience
• Minimum two-years warehouse experience (for the W/H Manager consideration only)
• High school degree or equivalent (GED)
• Basic computer and mathematical skills
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

A Plus, but Not Required:

• Forklift Certification
• Spanish Speaking 
• Ability to use Tablet/Handheld Devices (for inventory and stock taking)
