Job Overview: As a Remote School Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of students in various virtual learning environments across Maryland. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and students to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services that promote students' participation in meaningful activities, enhance their independence, and facilitate their overall academic success.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide virtual individual and group therapy sessions using appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, progress reports, and session notes.
• Deliver virtual consultations and training to educators and parents to ensure the consistent implementation of strategies that support students' needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a school-based occupational therapist.
• Ability to independently manage caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and technology.
• Dedication to promoting inclusivity and supporting students' individual needs.
