Research Associate III's conduct a variety of routine and non-routine research assignments, experiments and assists with ultrasound device assembly and operation.
Specific Job Related Duties:
Dr. Sheetz' lab is focused on using ultrasound technology to rejuvenate aged cells and tissues (see https://doi.org/10.1101/2022.12.08.519320). The best candidate will be one with both an engineering background and a working knowledge of ultrasound technology.

Salary Range: $53,360-$72,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.

- Plans, coordinates and directs moderately complex research experiments following general technical procedures.
- Establishes and oversees quality control measures for assigned project operations.
- Makes modification to research procedures as determined by Principal Investigator.
- Contributes to scientific analysis and interpretation of projects.
- Maintains records of all tests performed and data collected, compiles and tabulates data, provides analysis of results.
- Confers with lab staff regarding results obtained and receives suggestions for modification to procedures and interpretation of final data.
- Ensures the accurate assembly, calibration, operation and modification of a variety of laboratory equipment as defined by appropriate guidelines.
- Makes minor modifications and repairs to equipment as necessary.
- Independently performs literature searches as outlined by the Principal Investigator.
- Oversees lab inventory of supplies and equipment.
- May provide guidance to junior research staff.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Performs related duties as required.
Salary Range: $53,360-$72,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
