Specialist-North Coast School of Education for the 2024-2025 School Year

The Specialist will be the lead contact for the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (PASC) program and the Administrator Induction Program (AIP). In this role, the person will support recruitment efforts for PASC including supporting participants in completing their CalAPA, leading PASC faculty meetings, and overseeing all aspects of the PASC program. AIP involves recruiting coaches, matching participating administrators with coaches, providing professional development sessions four times a year for the coaches and participating administrators as well as leading professional development for only the coaches. Tracking the completion of assignments for AIP is also a key job duty as well as other duties associated with supporting participating administrators clearing their credentials.

In addition, the Specialist will oversee our facilitators as well as develop, review, and update the curriculum for our Teacher Programs.

The Specialist reports to the Directors of the North Coast School of Education.

Education:
-Master's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education is required.

Experience:
-In administrative positions with progressively increasing responsibility and professional experience in the field of education.
-In staff development and/or in-service training experience.

Credentials:
-Appropriate valid California Teaching Credential or Pupil Personnel Services is required.
-Appropriate valid California Administrative Services credential or enrollment in a program to pursue one is required.
