Job Summary

Under the leadership and tactical guidance of an Order to Cash Solution Architect, the SAP Order to Cash Specialist will collaborate with business stakeholders, consultants to help design, develop, deploy and support solutions in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Global Trade and any associated bolt-ons to meet business unit needs for “Order to Cash, Field Inventory Management and Import/Export” business processes. The incumbent will also play a critical role in supporting the developing the architecture and implementation of SAP S4HANA within the operating subsidiaries and the holding company for Terumo in North and South America and globally.

Job Details/Responsibilities

Architecture of SAP Solution:

In collaboration with SAP COE Leader, Commercial and FIM leader, Integration Manager and project consultants, Develop and maintain roadmap for the Order to Cash, Field Inventory Management and Import/Export solutions, ensuring it reflects the current and future business needs, aligned with industry, SAP best practices and solution roadmap
Responsible for developing standard business process design, configure, test, deploy and support SAP S/4HANA and SAP GTS solution along with any bolt-on for all “Order to Cash, Field Inventory Management and Import/Export Processes” across Procurement and distribution functions.
Proactively and effectively communicate and collaborate with the SAP COE Leader, Order to Cash Solution Architect, Integration Manager, PMO, Project Team and Business Stakeholders to address the need for Global Trade Compliance/Customs for Import and Export process through SAP S/4HANA and SAP Global trade bolt-on and other integrated applications which have relevance across Terumo operations.
Enhance Order to Cash, Field Inventory Management and Import/Export business processes through the development of regionally relevant solutions to meet business needs.
Work with other Process Team(s) in resolving key integration points between and across processes to ensure they are properly accounted for.
Work with other Process Team(s) on cross-functional processes (Finance, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality etc.)
Work with other Process Team(s) in development and execution of the test scripts in the integration testing cycles
Work with other Process Team(s) in development and execution of the cutover activities
Utilize and build on basic knowledge in areas such as IDOCs, batch job processing to troubleshoot and suggest improvements
Perform Fit/Gap assessment and finalize functional specifications
Work with Consultants/Developers to clarify any requirements as needed
Perform unit testing and ensure satisfaction of the documented requirements
Act as main design and support authority for the Order to Cash, Field Inventory Management and Import/Export in collaboration with Business stakeholders.
Timely Development and communication of weekly/monthly/quarterly status reports to Order to Cash Solution Architect.

Implementation of SAP in Terumo Americas:

Work with SAP COE Leader, Commercial and FIM leader, Integration Manager PMO, (external) Consulting Team and (internal) Core Business Team for the successful design, configuration, unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing of the SAP S/4HANA and SAP GTS implementation.
Work with the SAP COE Leader, Commercial and FIM leader, Project Team and Business stakeholders to proactively and effectively communicate and collaborates with the User Community to address SAP needs and requirements across all operations in the Americas.
Work with other Process Team(s) in development and execution of the test scripts in the integration testing cycles
Work with other Process Team(s) in development and execution of the cutover activities
Support the building of and effectively manage Integration Points between SAP S/4HANA, GTS and other TC systems.
Help Perform risk assessments of enterprise apps and work closely with project teams on building/configuring applications security.
Create clearly defined Instructions and Structured Documentation to track and control project scope.
Develop User Documentation in cooperation with the Consultants and Core Business Team.

Ongoing Support & Maintenance:

Take ownership for the Global Process Design Template, Configuration, Test Scripts and other associated work products related to “Order to Cash, Field Inventory Management and Import/Export processes” to ensure effective control over changes required for localization or legal requirements.
Adheres to the policies, standards & baselines to ensure consistency of
Support SAP COE in testing and validation efforts related to Maintenance Patches, Version Upgrades and integration on New Bolt-on Applications from time to time as required.
Respond to User Help Desk tickets for disposal of service requests from business users.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

Software: Strong knowledge of SAP Suite of Products and their latest versions
Be accountable for helping drive the successful design, architecture, build, test, and implementation of SAP Order to Cash and FIM solution across all the TAH manufacturing and distribution sites.
Partner with business leads, business engagement teams to support the development of cases for delivering the IT roadmap and Business strategy
Collaborate with Business, Operations IS and ERP solution architects (MTD, QBM, STP, LWM, GTS) for multi-functional integrations and E2E solution design.
Serve as solution owner for the SAP Order to Cash solutions within the global ERP architecture team.
Lead continuous improvements to drive IT effectiveness with the business and IT
Collaborate with business and operations teams to identify future business needs and prioritize resources/efforts to support the delivery of business-critical projects, enhancements, and process improvements.
Deliver on portfolio investments and ensure business value outcomes are realized based on prioritized business needs
Drive implementation of multi-functional initiatives required for regulatory compliance
Uses deep business knowledge to drive engagement in major IT initiatives
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others.
Influence architecture decisions and solution choices with business collaborators and enterprise architects
Manage Implementation vendor to ensure the effective execution of the projects and services, holding them accountable to project scope, SLAs, and critical metrics
Drive configuration and development activities to meet business requirements through a combination of internal and external teams
Ensure all the required functional, configuration, and technical design documents of SAP OTC capabilities are created in compliance with GxP requirements and ERP architecture standards.
Support Validation/QA teams on ensuring GxP compliance of SAP OTC capabilities with the corporate standard for IT change management and IT SOPs following 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11 requirements
Promotes adoption of SAP industry standard methodologies within in S/4 Order to Cash workstream.
Contribute to the business through innovative ideas, proof of concepts, etc.
Should have adequate knowledge of Stock Transport Orders and 3PL/4PL business processes
Should be aware of global compliance requirements in their respective countries in electronic invoicing
Possess solid knowledge in SAP Organizational structure, Master data, Sales Order Processing, Delivery Processing, Shipping and Transportation, Billing processing, and accounts receivables.
Good understanding of SAP supply chain processes
Knowledge of project methodologies like Scrum, Agile, Waterfall
Basic understanding of ABAP and debugging ABAP code

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain process area, with professional certification preferably in SAP SD, MM or GTS
5 years of experience in SAP Order to Cash with a minimum of 1-2 end to end S/4 implementations
Experience with major large, complex multi country end to end SAP transformation programs preferred
Experience in Medical Device / Life Sciences Industry is preferable.
Hands on experience in configuring Document types and Item categories in Sales, Delivery & Billing, Contracts and Pricing, ATP, Export Controls, Output Determination, Credit Management, EDI/IDOC, and other OTC processes.
Experience in integration of SD with other SAP modules like MM, FI, PP, GTS, and EWM required
Experience in the integration of SAP with applications like Salesforce, and Hybris required
