Overview
Intrepid Solutions is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Specialist to support a new program serving a DoD customer. This effort will provide research, development, assessment, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstration, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of the designated information and/or intelligence software systems with Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) warfighting capabilities. A qualified Quality Assurance Specialist will meet or exceed the qualifications, and be capable of performing the duties, listed below:

Intrepid Solutions is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Specialist to support a new program serving a DoD customer. A qualified Quality Assurance Specialist will meet or exceed the qualifications, and be capable of performing the duties, listed below:
Responsibilities
- Working with quality control methods and tools and verification and validation, software testing and integration, software metrics, and their application to software quality assessment; and expert knowledge of current validation requirements for process validation and computer system validation and overall demonstrated knowledge of system and project life cycles.
- Maintaining process for evaluating software and associated documentation.
- Examining and evaluating the software quality assurance process and recommend enhancements and modifications.
- Writing quality studies; reviewing and participating in the completion of various quality assurance related documents.
- Assisting with the conduct of information systems, information security, and software audits.
- Performing predefined testing procedures, validating software settings and configurations against guidelines.
- Designing and providing software metrics detailing requests received, statuses, risks, challenges and major release dates.
- Developing, and executing test plans and test cases based on design specifications and requirement.
- Interacting with software developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis;
- Performing debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source.
- Providing feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
- Developing standards, methods, and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
- Developing testing programs to address database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and usability.
- Documenting software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Monitoring bug resolution efforts and track successes.
- Installing and configuring recreations of software production environments to allow testing of software performance.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- This is a Full Time position, with operating hours to be discussed during the interview process. Position is anticipated to require 100% onsite support, unless otherwise determined.
TRAVEL:
- Position may require some travel.
Qualifications
CLEARANCE:
- Active Top Secret / SCI. ***TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration. This position is not open for any clearance upgrades, reactivation, or sponsorship.***
EDUCATION:
- Any Bachelor's degree with relevancy to the works to be performed and 8 or more years related experience.
- Twenty (20) years of experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
CERTIFICATION(S):
- None
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of eight (8) years of Quality Assurance experience.
- Experience executing a project of similar requirements, scope, and size.
