Sr. Solutions Architect Manager- Lead Developer

Our client is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect Manager – Lead Developer to join them at their Corporate Office.

Mission: Build, deploy, and maintain robust data, software, and hardware platforms and solutions for business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Possess expertise in multiple technical environments and knowledge of one or more business areas.
• Hands-on technical expert and have experience working as a subject matter expert on IoT, AI / Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Virtual / Augmented reality technologies.
• Continuously evaluate existing technologies with industry standards and make recommendations for improvement.
• Document and monitor business requirements needed to institute proposed solutions.
• Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Legacy IT team, DevOps/MLOps, Cloud Engineers, Hardware / Robotics Engineers within the company to ensure solutions are viable and work properly.
• Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources and scope.
• Work closely with project management teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives.
• Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions.
• Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and manage their proper execution.
• Leads multiple projects of data engineering, data science applications, software and hardware development, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
• Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure, microservices, and algorithm backend.
• Collaborate with business teams to interpret business requirements into functional solutions.
• Able to write professional back-end code in various programming languages.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Applied mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, Business Administration or related field or experience.
• Project management and leadership skills are essential
• Comprehensive (7+ years) professional experience as a DevOps/System Engineer, Architect or Technical lead
• Ability to perform technical deep-dives into code, networking, systems and storage configuration
• A background of deep technical expertise in various technology areas such as: Cloud Adoption, migration and deployment; Database and Middleware management; full lifecycle enterprise Software Development; DevOps pipeline build and management; AI / ML algorithms; Computer Vision
• 5 years of hands-on experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and popular cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google - GCP).
• Solid technical hand-on skills in machine learning (regression, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction), deep learning (CNN, RNN/LSTM), time series data, optimization, anomaly detection, statistical algorithms, and data engineering.
• Proficient in Keras, Tensorflow, Scikit-learn and other machine learning libraries.
• SAP BI HANA knowledge and QlikSense reporting is a plus
• Working knowledge of relational databases
• Familiar with micro service architecture
• Good knowledge of Restful API development, know how to design and develop Restful API
• Git code management practices (GitHub)
• Experience in writing unit tests to ensure code quality
• Experience in development under Linux/Unix systems
• Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
• Experience in software and hardware engineering and design architecture
• Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working to a high level
• Professional experience working with and analyzing computer hardware and software
• Extensive knowledge and experience working with operating systems
• Strong ability to use logic and excellent problem-solving and code debugging skills.
• Demonstrated experience with agile development methods. Agile at scale is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and, consultative skills, work effectively with clients, vendors, peers, and business/IT management.
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
• Experience in agricultural/meat/animal industries is a plus.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): eligible after 90 days of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
• Base salary range of $95,000-100,000 and
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program
