Description

Proves high-level administrative support to the Behavioral Health (BH) Department with particular focus on tracking and coordinating all aspects of BH client surveys.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinates and tracks all aspects of Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) client surveys to include administering surveys, documenting responses, and entering data into the appropriate electronic platform.
  • Coordinates and tracks all aspects of BH discharge surveys; collates data and provides reports upon request.
  • Assists with department special projects, events, and collaborations as assigned such as QI projects, mail outs, surveys, flyers, announcements, staff retreats, trainings, community health fairs, etc.
  • Works with the department leadership and Communication Coordinator to develop and distribute information about BH services and initiatives; works with BH Director to maintain up-to-date BH publications.
  • Maintains accurate information regarding BH service availability on the statewide Open Beds platform; monitors and updates the platform daily; serves as a resource for BH providers seeking to place clients in treatment facilities throughout the State.
  • Serves as back-up for other administrative positions within the BH department as needed; receives cross-training as applicable.
  • Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents; independently compose routine correspondence not requiring supervisor's attention.


Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and 3 years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Database software; Internet, Word Processing, Spreadsheet software and learn proprietary software. Ability to create a variety of reports as requested.
