Staff Accountant - Tax Accounting

Hours: 40 hours - 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. 55+ hours during peak Season,

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 Annually

Job Description:

Staff Accountant with various accounting, tax, and administrative duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Preparing business, personal, estate, trust and charitable organizations and other compliance reports with relevant government agencies.
• Researching and interpreting relevant information upon request by manager.
• Improving job knowledge continuously by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications:

• . Must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or higher.
• . Accustomed to working in a deadline-oriented environment by demonstrating proper time management
• . Must be detailed oriented and able to prioritize work load
• . Must demonstrate proficiency in various PC programs (Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, etc.)
• . Must be team-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• . Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• . Prefer a minimum of 2 years work experience in public accounting
• . CPA credentials (or working towards certification) desirable but not required
• . Related work experience in a professional service environment is a plus
