Associate Attorney, Entry Level

Well established, busy Glenwood Springs law firm has an opening for an INEXPERIENCED attorney associate to do mainly family law, some criminal defense law, and some small civil matters. We focus on defending fundamental liberties. We have been in that business for more than 20 years. Glenwood Springs is located on exit 116 on I-70, 45 miles from Aspen.

Recent graduates are requested to apply. We prefer inexperience, as we will do the training. We take your mentoring seriously. No minimum billable hourly scheme here. Flexibility in your work schedule.

The position is mainly courtroom and trial work. It is "roll up your sleeves" law. Student courtroom/trial or mock trial experience makes a good foundation, and is a plus. You will assist and second chair, but will also have your own clients nearly right away. We fight hard, BTW, so be prepared to learn to do that.

You will have experienced paralegal and interpreting support. About 20% of our clients speak Spanish.

Everyone gets along wonderfully in this office, with great atmosphere and camaraderie. No uneasy or uncomfortable work environment. We don't permit that.
