Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Purchasing
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Department: Administrative
Location: Sandy Office
Summary
The Purchasing Coordinator should have residential construction experience, excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, time management skills, communication skills, and must represent the Company in a professional manner.
Responsibilities include:
Send out Price Schedules and track signatures
Provide miscellaneous invoice help to Purchasing teams, including but not limited to coding, processing, etc.
Provide analysis on Options margins percentages
Prepare and upload job/lot start packets into tracking software
Assist in uploading building/lot specific plan information into tracking software
Assist in uploading approved cabinet layouts into tracking software
Any other tasks as required by the Purchasing or Construction teams
Assist in custom Option pricing as needed
Assist in maintaining and submitting manufacturer rebate reports to the Purchasing Manager
Provide correct labeling/sticker information for Design Center samples when requested by Selections Coordinator
Receive and help maintain products shipped directly to the office and stored offsite
Program Selections into tracking Software
Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience Three to five years construction purchasing experience or a relevant degree.
Language Ability Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of the organization.
Math Ability Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
