Real Estate Lawyer Duties and Responsibilities

Draft and edit documents related to the sale, lease, and purchase of real estate
Represent clients in real estate transactions, court proceedings, and mediations
Negotiate real estate deals and contracts, ensuring optimal results for the client

Real Estate Lawyer Requirements and Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a four-year Law School Program
Valid State Bar Certification to practice law
Thorough knowledge of applicable state and local real estate laws
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with clients
Highly organized and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Able to understand financial documents related to real estate transactions
Expert knowledge of contract and litigation procedures
