We are seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join our team and assist in the daily operations of our pharmacy. The Intern is responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting in medication preparation, inventory management, and other assigned tasks . Pharmacy Intern Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications, including counting tablets, pouring, labeling and delivering medications
- Assist pharmacists in verifying the accuracy and completeness of medication orders
- Answer phones, address customer inquiries, and provide information to customers
- Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all laws and regulations pertaining to the sale and distribution of medications
Pharmacy Intern Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy technician program
- Excellent math and customer service skills
- Able to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
