Operator Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Operator to join our team. The Operator will be responsible for operating complex mechanical and electronic production machines in a manufacturing environment. The Operator is required to work in a safe and efficient manner to produce quality products on time and meet our customers’ needs.
Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure machines are properly set up for operation and perform regular maintenance
- Set up, adjust, and monitor the production process, including making cross-checks to troubleshoot any irregularities in the machines
- Inspect and adjust the equipment and adjust production parameters as required
- Monitor the quality of the product and address any discrepancies immediately
- Monitor the flow of production, ensure all production processes are completed properly and efficiently
- Maintain and control inventory of raw materials and finished goods
- Perform housekeeping duties and follow safety processe
Operator Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of basic engineering concepts including accuracy and mechanical tolerances
- Self-starter with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Understanding of industrial equipment including pumps, motors, valves etc.
- Able to lift heavy items and work with machinery
- At least two years experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Forklift certification is a plus
