Operations Engineer Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance and repairs of network infrastructure
- Create and lead implementation teams for upgrades and technology migration projects
- Work with business partners to identify challenges and create elegant new solutions
- Identify recurring maintenance or breakdown points and develop new processes to reduce labor upkeep requirements
Operations Engineer Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, or a relevant field
- Five years of professional experience in business operations or IT, especially in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience with Linux, VMware, and standard virtualization software
- Close familiarity with software development processes and procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
