We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team to provide direct assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patients with neurological, musculoskeletal, and cognitive deficits. This position will work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans to meet patients’ goals.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient’s condition by reviewing patient’s medical history, observing posture and movement, analyzing tests and measurements, and interviewing patient and family members
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using therapeutic activities, assistive technology, and other interventions
  • Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment
  • Monitor patient’s progress and modify treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Educate patients and families about disease, disability, and self-management

Occupational Therapist (OT) Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Minimum two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
