Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Non-Licensed Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will provide crucial support to individuals facing various emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. While not holding a formal counseling license, you will work under the supervision of licensed professionals to offer guidance, resources, and assistance to clients. • Client Assessment: Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, background, and needs. Supportive Counseling: Offer non-licensed counseling services, including emotional support and guidance to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, or other mental health issues.
• Psychoeducation: Provide psychoeducation on various mental health topics, treatment options, coping strategies, and available resources.
• Crisis Intervention: Assist clients in crisis situations by implementing appropriate interventions and connecting them with emergency services when necessary.
• Client Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting assessments, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with licensed professionals, such as psychologists, social workers, and counselors, to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Resource Referral: Connect clients with community resources, support groups, and other services that can enhance their well-being.
• Group Sessions: Facilitate support groups or psychoeducational workshops to address common mental health challenges and foster a sense of community among clients.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Show sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic differences when working with diverse client populations.
• Professional Development: Stay updated on current best practices in non-licensed counseling through training, workshops, and continuing education.

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a support or counseling role, preferably in a mental health or social services setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Empathetic and nonjudgmental attitude towards clients.
• Knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment options, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate client needs.
• Willingness to work under the supervision of licensed professionals and follow their guidance.
• CPR and First Aid certification (may be required in some settings).
