You will be responsible for coding software in a variety of languages, including Java and JavaScript. You will also work with database programs, which require an understanding of SQL. Any certifications you have in these languages is beneficial. Our ideal applicant has a bachelor's degree in software engineering and a strong portfolio of past projects. You should have experience with various operating systems, including Linux. You should also be familiar with basic office software, such as Excel and Outlook.

Junior Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Write, test, and revise code for our projects
  • Provide input on the direction of each project
  • Assist with the deployment of completed projects
  • Assist the senior engineer with complex projects
  • Communicate with the client to ensure your code meets their expectations

Junior Engineer Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science
  • Portfolio of past development projects
  • Experience with a variety of programming languages; certification is preferred
  • Experience with all major operating systems
