Inventory Auditor Job Summary

We have an immediate opening for an Inventory Auditor to ensure we have accurate counts of our inventory. In this role, you will review and count merchandise received daily in the warehouse and manually count all merchandise on our sales floor. When you identify discrepancies, you must document it according to company protocols, work to find the source of the inaccuracy, and find ways to reduce or eliminate future inventory errors. You will be expected to produce and deliver weekly auditing reports to your supervisor.

Inventory Auditor Duties and Responsibilities

  • Document counts of all inventory received in the warehouse
  • Walk the sales floor to do manual counts of all merchandise
  • Identify discrepancies and document them properly
  • Report discrepancies and find ways to prevent them in the future

Inventory Auditor Requirements and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in inventory
  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • The ability to bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl throughout your shift
  • Proficiency with basic computer programs
  • Keen attention to detail
  • A flexible schedule
  • Reliable transportation
