Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Independent Contractor Caregivers to provide essential in-home care services to our clients. As an Independent Contractor Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily activities. You will work independently, creating flexible schedules that suit both your availability and the needs of our clients. • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences
• Administer medications as prescribed by a healthcare professional, ensuring proper dosage and timing
• Assist clients with mobility and transferring, using mobility aids as required
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients through engaging in conversations, reading, or accompanying them on outings
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and tidy living environment
• Safely transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities using your own vehicle or as agreed upon with the client
• Maintain detailed records of care provided, including medication logs, daily activities, and any changes in the client's condition
• Regularly communicate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the client's well-being and to report any concerns or changes in their condition
• Be prepared to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations, following established protocols

• Punctuality and dependability are crucial for this role, as clients rely on your assistance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for documenting care and communicating with clients and their families
• Depending on local regulations, certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or similar healthcare certification may be required
• Previous caregiving experience is preferred, but we also welcome individuals who are new to the field and willing to undergo training
• If transportation of clients is part of the role, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required
• Successful completion of a background check and reference checks may be necessary
• The ability to lift, bend, and assist clients with mobility is required
• It is recommended, but not always mandatory, to have current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations governing caregiving services is mandatory
