High School Counselor Job Summary

High School Counselor Requirements and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or related field
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with children preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of student development and learning theory
- Able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
