• Collect, analyze, and interpret geospatial data using a variety of tools and technologies, including GIS software, remote sensing techniques, and GPS technology
• Create high-quality maps and visualizations that effectively communicate spatial information for internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and maintain spatial models and algorithms to support decision-making processes, such as site selection, route optimization, and resource allocation
• Integrate geospatial data with other datasets, such as demographic, environmental, and business data, to provide comprehensive insights
• Maintain and update geospatial databases, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and accessibility
• Conduct spatial analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in geospatial data, and provide actionable recommendations based on findings
• Coordinate and conduct field data collection activities, including GPS surveys and data validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, analysts, and project managers, to support various projects and initiatives
• Ensure the quality and consistency of geospatial data and deliverables, adhering to industry standards and best practices
• Maintain clear and organized documentation of geospatial processes, methodologies, and results

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Engineering, GIS, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus
• Proven experience (X years) in geospatial analysis, GIS, and spatial modeling
• Proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with remote sensing techniques and software, as well as GPS technology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex geospatial information
• Excellent knowledge of spatial databases and data management principles
• Strong programming skills, especially in languages commonly used in geospatial analysis (e.g., Python, R)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate results
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in geospatial engineering and GIS
• Experience with web mapping tools and platforms (e.g., Leaflet, Mapbox) is a plus
• Certifications in GIS or related fields are desirable
