Job Summary: As a Flight Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft. Working closely with the flight crew, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining aircraft systems during all phases of flight, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and contributing to the overall safety and performance of the aircraft. • Pre-Flight Inspection: Conduct pre-flight inspections of aircraft systems, including engines, avionics, hydraulics, and fuel systems to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• In-Flight Monitoring: Monitor and analyze various aircraft systems and instruments during flight, including engine performance, fuel consumption, and environmental control systems.
• Emergency Procedures: Assist the flight crew in responding to emergency situations, such as engine failures or system malfunctions, by providing technical guidance and taking appropriate corrective actions.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during flight, making quick decisions to resolve problems and ensure the safety of the aircraft and passengers.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the flight crew, air traffic control, and maintenance personnel, providing updates on the status of aircraft systems and any maintenance requirements.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of flight data, maintenance actions, and equipment status, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Training and Compliance: Stay up-to-date with the latest regulations, procedures, and technological advancements in aviation to ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the pilot and co-pilot to ensure effective teamwork and coordination in managing aircraft systems.
• Weight and Balance: Calculate and monitor the aircraft's weight and balance to ensure it remains within safe operating limits.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as aviation technology, aerospace engineering, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Hold a valid Flight Engineer Certificate issued by the appropriate aviation authority (e.g., FAA in the United States).
• Previous experience as a Flight Engineer on similar aircraft is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including engines, avionics, hydraulics, and fuel systems.
