Environmental Health and Safety Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental health, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in safety management preferred
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to lead, motivate and evaluate employees
  • Knowledge of incident investigation procedures
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
