- Ensure compliance with applicable local, state and federal regulations
- Develop, maintain, and update safety documentation and records as needed
- Conduct accident investigations, analyze causes and recommend preventive measures
Environmental Health and Safety Manager Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental health, engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in safety management preferred
- Knowledge of local, state and federal safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to lead, motivate and evaluate employees
- Knowledge of incident investigation procedures
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
