Delivery Helper Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will accompany one of our drivers as they deliver home goods and small appliances to customers. In addition to providing your delivery partner with GPS directions along the route, you will assist with pulling orders and loading/unloading the truck. While we prefer applicants who have a driver's license so they can help with driving the truck, it is most important that you have the physical ability to lift and move items safely. All applicants must be able to pass a drug and background test.
Delivery Helper Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading the truck
- Provide directions to the driver
- Verify shipments upon delivery
- Assist with order pulling as needed
Delivery Helper Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
- Physical stamina to lift 50-100 lbs. consistently
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Customer service skills
