Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and responsible Class D Delivery Driver to join our team. The Class D Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class D driver's license, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. This is a vital role within our organization, as the Class D Delivery Driver is often the primary point of contact with our customers.

• Operate company vehicles, including trucks and vans, in a safe and responsible manner.
• Load and unload goods and products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Plan and execute delivery routes, taking into account traffic, weather conditions, and customer locations.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods promptly, professionally, and courteously.
• Verify the accuracy of orders and invoices before delivery.
• Collect payments or signatures from customers as required, and maintain accurate records of deliveries and payments.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
• Report any vehicle issues or accidents to the appropriate supervisor and follow company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including hours of service (HOS) requirements.
• Keep delivery vehicle clean and organized, both inside and out.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery trucks at the warehouse or distribution center.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
• Communicate any delivery delays or issues to customers and the dispatch team.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class D driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with local roads and routes in the delivery area.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
• Basic math skills for verifying orders and collecting payments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks is a plus.
