Bottle Server Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency and accuracy in the presentation and taste
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies, garnishes, glassware, and other necessary items
Greet and welcome customers as they enter the establishment, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
Take beverage orders accurately, engaging with customers to understand their preferences and making appropriate recommendations
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
Input orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, including proper handling of cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area, including regular cleaning of glassware, utensils, bar equipment, and workstations
Organize and restock inventory to ensure availability of beverages and supplies during operational hours
Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to alcohol service, including verifying legal drinking age and refusing service when necessary
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all staff and customers
Bottle Server Requirements and Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse clientele
Knowledge of different types of beverages, cocktails, and drink recipes
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, managing time and priorities effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and processing
