Appliance Technician Job Summary
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Appliance Technician. You must be knowledgeable about the repair of both residential and commercial appliances, including refrigerators, microwaves, ranges, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers. When repair is not feasible, you need to be able to discuss and recommend replacement appliances. Our ideal candidate has at least one year of appliance repair experience. In this job, you will be responsible for documenting repair procedures properly and providing excellent customer service. We provide tools and a service van for our technicians.
Appliance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to various clients and identify problems with their appliances
- Perform repairs
- Recommend replacement when necessary
- Clean up thoroughly upon completion of repairs
- Maintain tools and vehicle
Appliance Technician Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of appliance repair experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with basic computer programs
- Working knowledge of testing and repair tools and equipment
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexible schedule
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
