Job Summary: As an Airport Security Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, personnel, and facilities within the airport. You will be responsible for conducting thorough security screenings of passengers and their belongings to identify and prevent prohibited items from entering secure areas of the airport. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

• Conduct efficient and respectful screenings of passengers using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and physical pat-downs as necessar <li>Operate screening equipment to thoroughly inspect carry-on and checked baggage, identifying potential threats and prohibited items.
• Detect and respond to prohibited items, such as weapons, explosives, and other dangerous items, following established protocols.
• Effectively communicate with passengers, providing clear instructions and information regarding security procedures and requirements.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies, following standard operating procedures and assisting airport authorities as needed.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Completion of relevant security training programs or certifications is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail to detect potential security threats accurately.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact courteously and professionally with passengers and colleagues.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy baggage, and perform physical screenings as required.
