We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activity Aide to join our team. The Activity Aide is responsible for developing, leading, and supervising activities for our elderly facility. Activity Aide Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and lead a variety of activities for elderly participants, ranging from physical activities to educational and recreational activities
- Monitor and supervise activities to ensure the safety of all participants
- Develop relationships with participants and evaluate their needs and interests
- Provide assistance to participants as needed
- Ensure that the environment is clean and well-maintained
- Record and document activity participation and progress
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Activity Aide Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with elderly individuals preferred
- Able to effectively communicate and interact with elderly individuals
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically able to lift up to 25lbs
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
