- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on boilers and related components
- Troubleshoot and diagnose boiler problems
Boilermaker Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience as a Boilermaker or in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of power plant operations and the principles of safe operation and maintenance of steam-generating systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
- Experience using cutting and welding tools and knowledge of techniques
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
