Assistant baseball coaches work in a wide variety of locations, but most of your work is on the baseball field, where you help run practices or coach games. However, many coaches have other responsibilities, such as attending league meetings, or, if they work at a school, athletic department or full faculty meetings. Some coaches have offices in the gym or school and may have to teach classes. If you coach a team that travels to play, you spend some time on the road.
