What does an assistant baseball coach do?

An assistant baseball coach provides support to a head coach or manager of a baseball team. You may specialize in a specific aspect of the game in this career, such as pitching, batting, fielding, or base running. Your responsibilities depend on the level at which you are coaching. For example, an assistant baseball coach for a little league team may give the head coach support with organizing practices and other administrative tasks. A high school or club travel team coach, however, may have more duties and may specialize in a specific aspect of the sport or work with particular players.
