Where do advocates work?

Advocates can work in a wide variety of locations. Any large company that focuses on providing services to their customers has a need for advocacy. Typically, you spend most of your working hours in an office building, but patient advocates may find themselves in the hospital just as often as at their desk. As there are independent customer advocacy groups, you may even find yourself in court, fighting against illegal business practices. While this is primarily a desk job, aspiring advocates should expect to work in a variety of settings.
