What makes a good advocate?

Career: Advocate

Good advocates must be passionate about fighting for client interests within their company. While customer support and advocacy is your primary function, you must also ensure that those interests line up with the legal and financial responsibilities of your employer. It’s one thing to know what services your clients want, and another to understand what you can realistically provide. You must also be able to evaluate and assess the needs of the individual customer against the needs of the entire client base, which requires excellent research and analytical skills. Additionally, a good advocate can take customer complaints and turn them into constructive advice for company management.
