Where can therapy aides work?

Physical therapy aides and occupational therapy aides work in public and private health care practices and hospitals as well as in schools, nursing homes, and long-term care facilities. You may also work for government agencies or through home health care services. Depending on your employer, you may have responsibilities during regular business hours or on nights and weekends. Some clinics offer extended hours to accommodate their patients’ needs. Your duties as a therapy aide are to provide support to your patients.
