Starting rate: $18/hr
Seeking full-time therapy aide to join large multi-disciplinary team. Therapy aide would be focused on assisting the clinic's lymphedema and oncology team with administrative tasks, schedule and wait-list management, as well as assisting as a second set of hands for patient care in collaboration with licensed clinician. Ideal candidate takes initiative to complete tasks, is organized, and can work well on a team.
Responsibilities
Seeking Therapy Aide to join large mutli-disciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, Patient Service Specialists and Therapy Aides. Ideal candidate is an excellent team player, is proactive in accomplishing tasks, detail-orientated, and organized. Must have excellent communication skills to work with large team and team of four techs. Secondary job duties include working with patients under a therapists' directions to help provide comprehensive rehabilitation.
Duties include assistance to clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting), infection control cleaning, light equipment maintenance, driving routes to transport patients to and from clinic, assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks, setting up patients on therapeutic activities, facilitating exercise groups, and other duties as assigned. Candidate must be hard working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team. Must have a valid driver's license.
Qualifications
  • One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred.
  • BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire
