Where are landman jobs?

Landman jobs are located in areas with large oil, gas, and mineral reserves. In the United States, there is a need for Landmen in several states, including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, California, Colorado, Alaska, North Dakota, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Kansas. Landmen may need to travel to land sites to conduct surface inspections or prepare land for drilling projects. When not performing fieldwork, Landmen are usually based in a city to research public records to determine land ownership and prepare reports.
