What is an engineering technologist?

An engineering technologist develops tools and implements designs and new technologies to improve processes and create products in a more efficient manner, such as in manufacturing, electrical applications, and even food production. As an engineering technologist, you utilize your technical knowledge of product development to construct improved systems while keeping quality control and customer needs in mind. This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree and related industry experience in a relevant field. Knowledge of safety regulations, package development, process management, and budget hurdles is necessary.
