What does an entry level game tester do?

An entry-level game tester tries out a video game made for a computer or game console system, such as PlayStation or Xbox. Your duties as a game tester may involve more technical aspects, such as searching the game for bugs or other technical problems, or your responsibilities may focus on evaluating how enjoyable or compelling the game is and whether it has market potential. In some cases, entry-level game testers perform both technical quality assurance and content evaluation. However, most testers that focus on content evaluation are members of the public, not full-time game testers.
