What does an Avaya engineer do?

Avaya is a multinational software and telecommunications company that develops and sells unifying communications solutions, such as voice over IP (VoIP) Technology, phone systems, system administration, and other technical tools. Avaya engineers may work for the Avaya corporation or an organization that utilizes the software. In this role, you design a central system based on your company's communication needs within their organization and with customers. This may include setting up an in-house call center, a network of remote answering lines, or a hybrid of both. Once the design is approved, you oversee the installation of the system and may be responsible for regular maintenance and repairs to ensure it continues to run properly.
