As a manufacturer rep, you sell manufactured products to wholesale and retail locations. Your duties include developing relationships with potential new customers and strengthening relationships with existing ones. You are typically responsible for a specific region which you travel throughout, meeting retailers and wholesalers to discuss contracts, demonstrate new products, and address customer concerns. Depending on the type of industry in which you work, you may also provide technical assistance to manufacturing engineers and customers.
